Message	Working on these cars than just a throw away type. The manifold is not a waste due to a stripped thread, minor issue. People junk things all the time that, if they had and skills as a craftsman, would be no problem fixing. It's not ghetto to use helicoil, and it won't degradate the hold of the bolt. I've been successful using longer bolts for mine, when the previous mechanic used a wratchet gun on them which stripped it.
